A leading organization specializing in commercial new construction projects, is looking to hire an Estimator for Commercial New Construction to work out of their headquarters in Lititz, PA.
Key Responsibilities :
Estimate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems for commercial construction projects that align with the company's goals and client expectations.
Analyze blueprints, design drawings, specifications, and project documentation to create comprehensive, accurate, and competitive bids.
Develop conceptual designs for design / build projects and sketch drafts for CAD operators.
Prepare and present detailed proposals while effectively communicating the scope of work to clients.
Conduct negotiations and perform continuous follow-ups on submitted proposals to secure contracts.
Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, update bid calendars, and cultivate strong relationships with general contractors and clients.
Ensure project profitability and success by working closely with internal teams to achieve division and company-wide objectives.
Job Requirements
Key Requirements :
5-10 years of trade experience, specifically in electrical estimation for commercial construction.
Proven ability to read and interpret project blueprints, design documents, and specifications.
Valid Driver"s License for occasional travel or company-related activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong understanding of general construction practices and knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E.
Experience with Bluebeam and Trimble Estimation is a plus.
