Our client in Irwin is seeking a Facilities Manager to join the team.
Position will be 7am-330PM Monday - Friday with possible OT depending on equipment and building maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of the building's systems and machinery, including hydraulic, HVAC, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including compressors, valves, actuators, and related components.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, starters, control systems, and wiring, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems to ensure operational reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Fabricate and weld parts using a variety of materials and tools to repair or replace damaged components when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, labor hours, and equipment status for ongoing operations and future planning.
- Lead the response to emergency breakdowns, ensuring prompt repairs to minimize production interruptions and operational downtime.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment, as well as the upgrading or replacement of outdated systems to enhance facility performance.
