Our client is a leading water purification system design, installation, and maintenance provider with locations across the East Coast. They are looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join their team and provide on-site startup and troubleshooting services to their clients in the field. The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable working in the field with clients and can manage every stage of a maintenance or startup project.
Job Responsibilities -
- Travel on-site with a field service technician to gain an in-depth understanding of existing systems at service sites
- Collect and create technical documentation for service sites.
- Troubleshoot existing systems and propose, design, and test new solutions.
- Assist with cost estimation of services and solutions.
- Assist with managing projects, and eventually lead projects from start to finish. This includes ordering materials and parts, organizing manpower, and executing installation and startup.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to review documentation objectives, goals, and alignment with engineering documentation standardization.
