  • Sets up job accordingly to the job ticket instruction and approved signature
  • Reviews job tickets for specifications, make-ready time, run speeds, labels, folding orientation, quantity, ship date, and any special instructions
  • Runs equipment at required speeds while maintaining quality, wasted and safety standards
  • Follows all standard operating procedures relevant to job, position, and department
  • Properly documents production and quality inspections
  • Monitors production schedule
  • Troubleshoots and solves operating issues
  • Verifies finishing assistants have proper materials and full understanding of job requirements
  • Prepares for future runs
  • Aids other operators and assists finishing assistants as needed
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance
  • Fill out logs accurately
  • Communicate job status to the incoming shift
  • Observes all safety procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Job Requirements

    • Must have high school diploma or GED, or equivalent
    • Must have a minimum 2-5 years experience as a finishing operator trainee or complete training
    • Basic computer skills
    • Must be able to read and interpret documtents
