Inventory Clerk (Temporary)
Pay : $20 / hour
Shift : M-F / 8AM-5PM

Job Summary
The Inventory Control Clerk ensures that customer orders are filled correctly; all inventory systems are updated and accurate; customer trucks are directed to proper loading / unloading areas; Day Pass money is collected, and balances are correct.
Responsible for : Truck in and out, Inventory updates, Day Pass collection, Interactions with customers
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Check accuracy of trucks loaded with customer cargoes
- Maintain accurate inventories of customer cargoes
- Sign all trucks into and out of the port
- Update inventory systems of all commodities
- Communication with Managers, Supervisors, and customers both internal and external
- Collection of 'Day Pass' money during restricted periods with daily accurate balances
- Truck Window (shared responsibility)
- Work overtime as required
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements
MINIMUM PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or a similar role.
Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, Word).
Strong organizational skills communication skills
Customer service experience preferred
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
