What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Planner position at Synerfac?
Our client New Kensington is seeking a Material Planner to join the team
Duties :
- Enter and track Purchase Orders (POs) in the system to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials for engineering and production projects.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to confirm order details, shipping times, and product specifications.
- Monitor the status of POs and report any delays or issues to the engineering team.
- Work closely with the engineering team to prepare and process client quotes for various manufacturing projects.
- Gather and review project specifications, material requirements, and timelines to generate accurate and competitive quotes.
- Ensure all quotes are documented, maintained, and provided to clients promptly.
- Collect and analyze data related to manufacturing processes, costs, production schedules, and resource utilization.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to help the engineering team make data-driven decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the engineering supervisor or manager.
