We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Professional to join our team at Synerfac. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment using safe and effective problem-solving techniques on an ongoing basis.
Job Scope:
The scope of the Mechanical Maintenance Professional role includes:
- Maintaining all mechanical aspects of plant and yard equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Maintaining company vehicles and machines, including cranes, forklifts, concrete machines, and other heavy equipment.
- Providing additional assistance to our building maintenance crew as needed.
- Communicating with supervisor on parts inventories and supplies to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A comprehensive understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor and auger systems, power tools, overhead cranes, welding and fabrication, SMAW, GMAW, plasma torch, oxy/acetylene cutting, and wheeled vehicle repair and operation.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, bobcats, aerial lifts, cranes, and yard tractors (trucks).
- Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical issues and repair.
- Ability to read and understand parts diagrams to assemble/disassemble miscellaneous equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including experience using CMMS/IFS software.
- Two-five years' experience as a maintenance technician in a heavy industrial environment.
