Production Operator in Newport, DE
Shift : 12 hour rotating (must be available to work day and night shifts)
Job Overview
In this role your primary responsibility is to follow and complete job assignments assigned by Supervisor, Process Control or Lead. Always working with three things in mind : safety, quality and cost. You will be operating Milling or Finishing machines.
Job Duties :
Demonstrated ability to understand and work with analytical and mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting such equipment.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills are required.
Ability to work independently at times using Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
Requires the ability to work rotating schedules with the ability to lift material of 60 lbs
Labor intensive job involving the use of PPE, being in an industrial environment
Job Requirements
Requirements :
High School diploma or GED required
Experience with machine operating.
Ability to comprehend detailed verbal and written instruction and work with minimal supervision.
Standing and walking for extended periods as well as the ability to climb stairs
Routinely carrying up to 60lbs
Willing to work in extreme temperatures and dusty / dirty environment.
Must be able to do simple math and operate a computer
Experience working with large batching and chemicals is a PLUS
Drug screen and background check are mandatory if you are offered this position
Candidates must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
