Responsibilities :
- Manage multi-discipline projects on a variety of project sites within the City of Philadelphia as well as the
surrounding region.
Oversee the development of Land Development Plans including the preparation of engineering designdrawings, technical specification, and engineering reports (from schematic design through construction).
Coordinate permits through regulatory agencies for large scale, complex projects.Provide expertise in hydrologic / hydraulic analysis (including Flood Control and Water Qualitycompliance).
Delegate workload to Junior Engineers & Drafters; this includes mentoring / guiding Junior Engineers todevelop Stormwater Management strategies, Utility Coordination, and Erosion & Sediment Control Design.
Manage multiple projects and tasks; this includes monitoring schedules & budgets to ensure effectivecompletion of projects accordingly.
Complete field inspections, as needed.Prepare proposals for new & existing clients (including estimation of project fees).Job Requirements
Education / Requirements :
Expertise / deep knowledge of the Land Development process in the City of Philadelphia as well as thesurrounding region.
Management and / or Project Management experience; proven ability to manage multi-disciplineprojects is preferred.
Advanced proficiency with site design functions : site layout, grading, utility design, stormwatermanagement, erosion control, municipal & land-use regulatory approvals, etc.
Experience working with stormwater management, especially while utilizing Hydrology and HydraulicsH&H) modeling tools.
Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g. : CADD, project management software, etc.); experience withAutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus!
Proficiency on standard office software applications : Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word, Excel, andOutlook), Adobe Acrobat, etc.; experience working with Bluebeam Revu is a plus!
PE strongly preferred
