Our client is looking to hire a Field Service Technician for their location in Mentor Ohio! Our client is a national leader in high quality welding, fabricating, and Maintenance solutions for a wide variety of clients.
The Quality Control Inspector would be responsible for helping to build the quality control system while working closely with the General Manager, this includes improvements to production processes, and quality control standards.
Qualified candidates need to have experience in Magnetic Particle testing, Die penetrant Testing, and preferred to have Visual inspection level 2, Certified welding inspector, and knowledge of implementation and usage of 5s.
Job Requirements
Job responsibilities :
- Interpret and apply blueprint drawing requirements, strong attention for details
- Dimensionally inspect fabrications for fitment and completion to drawing requirements.
- Visually inspect (VT) welds and fitments.
- Penetrant inspect (PT) welds. (As needed)
- Inspect incoming materials and assemblies or fabrications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, teamwork mentality.
- Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
- The quality control inspector should possess strong organizational skills to perform product review and inspection.
