What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Synerfac?
Position Summary: The Quality Technician is responsible for performing incoming inspection on raw materials and goods as well as final inspection of components. The Quality Technician will work closely with production management to ensure timely inspections of products, as well as be an advocate for the quality management system. The Quality Technician will also have responsibilities for providing support to the internal audit program as well as continuous improvement.
Essential Job Functions:
* Perform incoming inspection on goods and raw materials
* Perform inspection to documented procedures on finished goods
* Perform some internal audits of processes and procedures
* Maintain legible and accurate records of inspections and audits
* Initiate nonconformance where applicable
* Calibration and testing of product
* Physical handling of components, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications for Success:
* Client maintains a COVID safe workplace. Our employees are either vaccinated against COVID-19 or wear an n95 mask when in the building
* High School Diploma
* Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word, Excel)
* Ability to read Blueprint/Wiring Schematics
* Maintain records of product inspection and testing
* Prior electronics assembly experience a plus
* Prior audit experience a plus
* Prior participation in ISO Certification audits a plus
* Prior mechanical assembly a plus
