What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Synerfac?
Read and interpret production orders.
Identify and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformities, and collaborate with production team to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instruments, and training materials.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, conducting inspections, and assisting with corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of quality excellence.
Understand corrective action, problem solving to include root cause analysis, either working alone, or leading a group.
Inspect and record product and identifies defects or mistakes in printing, coating, die cutting folder / gluer and packing operations.
Understands Inspection of Product and associated work instructions, and process change requests during corrective or improvement activities.
Communicate with operators, supervisors, or specified personnel of deviations from specifications, machine malfunctions, or need for machine maintenance.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control techniques to be able to identify defects, colors issues, or other product quality issues.
Review related information and have excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
Conduct tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality.
Adhere to all safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Manage rework activities
Communicate with customer, suppliers or other interested parties regarding quality activities
Manage and report out on Quality and AIB activities
Maintain performance records and retain files
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
5 years Quality Technician Experience Required
Knowledge of basic math skills. Capable of conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with quality control methods, tools, and techniques such as root cause analysis.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality management
