Location: Rutland, Vermont/ Wilmington, NC/ Hooksett, NH
Client: GE
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Experience: 7 Years
Application Engineer – Discovery, Integration Mapping, and Migration Support
Responsibilities:
· Perform discovery and analysis of homegrown applications to document functionality and integrations
· Create architecture diagrams to map application components and dependencies
· Identify and document integration points with other systems and services
· Modify applications as needed to support migration efforts
· Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless transitions
Requirements:
· Strong understanding of application architecture and integrations
· Experience with diagramming tools (Visio, etc.)
· Ability to read, analyze, and modify code/configurations in existing applications
· Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
· Nice to have: Prior experience with application migrations or modernization
