Application Engineer

Location: Rutland, Vermont/ Wilmington, NC/ Hooksett, NH

Client: GE

Experience- 8-10 years

Duration: 6 Months

Application Engineer Discovery, Integration Mapping, and Migration Support

Responsibilities:

Perform discovery and analysis of homegrown applications to document functionality and integrations

Create architecture diagrams to map application components and dependencies

Identify and document integration points with other systems and services

Modify applications as needed to support migration efforts

Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless transitions

Requirements:

Strong understanding of application architecture and integrations

Experience with diagramming tools (Visio, etc.)

Ability to read, analyze, and modify code/configurations in existing applications

Strong problem-solving and documentation skills

Nice to have: Prior experience with application migrations or modernization
