Duties
- Design and develop scalable data models and architectures to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Build and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Informatica to ensure efficient data flow from various sources into data lakes.
- Implement solutions using Azure Data Lake and AWS for cloud-based data storage and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for data projects and provide technical expertise in database design.
- Utilize SQL for querying databases and optimizing performance of data retrieval processes.
- Conduct model training activities to enhance predictive analytics capabilities within the organization.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing data pipelines for efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends in big data technologies and analytics to continuously improve our data engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Azure Data Lake, AWS, Apache Hive, and other cloud-based technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in SQL for database management and querying.
- Familiarity with server management practices related to data storage solutions.
- Knowledge of database design principles to create efficient schemas that support business needs.
- Experience with analytics tools or frameworks that enhance data processing capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
