Sr. NETWORK/SCADA Engineering Tech
Location : Los Angeles CA
- Knowledge of industrial control systems I/0 technologies and SCADA Protocols (Modbus, DNP3, CIP)
- Provides specialized and complex expertise in the design, deployment, and review of control systems.
- Administer, configure, validate, and maintain client's SCADA network and related hardware/software infrastructure.
- Provide expertise in design, deployment, and review of control systems LAN/WAN networks.
- Develop and maintain manuals, test procedures, and specifications for network upgrade and maintenance tasks.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, upgrade, and monitor performance of network components.
- Develop and maintain network documentation.
- Resolve network problems.
- Support network functions, including applying patches, installing network operating system revisions, maintaining, and upgrading hardware.
- Communicate network issues to project team, enhance network management and monitoring solutions, and make recommendations necessary to mitigate risks utilizing industry best practices and solutions.
- Coordinate with IT Network and Security teams to ensure security policies and procedures are implemented as defined in security plans.
- Coordinate with consultants, programmers, and engineers to ensure the successful design, enhancements, implementation, and administration of SCADA
