As a Tableau Administrator, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of Corporate Tableau instances, including VM patching support, onboarding, version upgrades etc. The Tableau Admin will be responsible for deploying, configuring, securing, and optimizing Tableau environments to meet the data visualization and reporting needs of the organization.
· Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
· Perform upgrades and patching to Tableau Server environments.
· Monitor server health and troubleshoot performance issues related to the Tableau Server environment.
· Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery configurations for Tableau Server.
· Configure and manage user access and permissions within Tableau Server/Online.
· Implement role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure data security.
· Create and manage Tableau Server groups and site-specific roles for proper access management.
· Troubleshoot user access and permissions issues, ensuring compliance with internal security policies.
· Monitor and optimize Tableau Server performance, including load balancing and system capacity planning.
· Analyze Tableau workbooks and dashboards to optimize performance for end users.
- · Work with data sources to improve query performance and reduce latency.
