SynergenX is looking for a Full-Time Clinical Medical Lab Technician with to join our team for Overnight shift.
General Description: The role of a Lab Technician is to work with complex systems or perform highly technical diagnostic tests in medical laboratory. As a lab tech you will use various types of lab equipment to performs tests ordered. The lab tech must maintain a clean environment as well as maintain documentation set by the regulatory standards of COLA.

Stamina: Work long days on feet, sometimes hunched over a workstation for long periods of time.

Technical Skill: need to understand complex lab machinery and computer programs used to conduct tests.

Receive, label and analyze samples

Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs

Perform quality control tests daily along with calibrations when needed for lab equipment

Documents information by maintaining daily logs, corrective action logs and equipment record books

Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy

Follow all company policies and procedure to ensure integrity and quality control

All labs to be run and resulted before leaving shift

Maintenance to be run machine as specified by manufacture or procedures established
Requirements:
-
Minimum of Bachelor of Science in a Science discipline: Biology, Chemistry, Medical lab sciences.
- Experience as a Medical Lab Tech or credentialed by ASCP as an MLT 2 year highly preferred

2 years' experience in a medical clinical lab environment running tests on Blood specimens (experience with Beckman DXI600 is a plus)

Must be able to work independently without much supervision on site.
- Have working knowledge of clinical laboratory specimens and hematology
Shift options:
Overnight - 10:00pm-6:30am and every other weekend (Hours worked between 5:00pm-5:00am earns extra $3 per hour)
Our lab runs 24 hours, 7 days a week
