The role requires the ability to stand and reach for extended periods, regularly lift and move 10-50 pounds, and have reliable transportation.
This position offers a set Monday-Friday schedule (2 PM-10 PM) with additional shift differential pay for hours worked after 5 PM. What You'll Do :
As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations within our pharmacy. You will communicate and coordinate shipments, update medical records systems, and perform in a fast-paced production environment under the supervision of our licensed pharmacists. Your responsibilities will include folding and building medication boxes, packing and shipping prescriptions with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, and addressing questions from healthcare providers, clinics, and pharmacy personnel. Additionally, you will assist with tracking and responding to emails related to patient prescriptions, provide excellent customer service, answer and transfer calls effectively, and maintain an organized workspace. You will also help with inventory management, unpack deliveries, and comply with HIPAA regulations.
The Ideal Candidates Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills (internet, email, etc.).
- Strong work ethic and professionalism.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM.
- 1 year of pharmacy or healthcare setting experience preferred.
- Aspiration to become a pharmacy technician is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Ability to stand, lift, and move (10-50 lbs.) during shifts.
- Reliable transportation and willingness for occasional overtime.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
