Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. If you are a motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you. Brighton, CO

Pay: $23.00 /hr. based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Create deposits (sorting checks in alpha order, creating coordinating excel spreadsheet)
  • Pulling invoices from customers files that are included in payments
  • Taking and creating orders
  • 10 key experience; reconciling invoices pulled as paid to the actual check
  • Posting deposits in accounting software
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and scanning documents and answering phones
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary

Accounting Clerk Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using computerized systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of front desk procedures and office management practices
