This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. If you are a motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you. Brighton, CO
Pay: $23.00 /hr. based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
- Create deposits (sorting checks in alpha order, creating coordinating excel spreadsheet)
- Pulling invoices from customers files that are included in payments
- Taking and creating orders
- 10 key experience; reconciling invoices pulled as paid to the actual check
- Posting deposits in accounting software
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and scanning documents and answering phones
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
Accounting Clerk Requirements:
- Proficiency in using computerized systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and office management practices
