Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This role requires a strong background in program management with a focus on Agile methodologies. A plus would be experience in cloud technologies, and candidates with a background in the automotive or insurance industries are particularly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple IT programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Oversee the adoption of Agile practices, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate between various project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
- Drive the integration of cloud solutions where applicable, enhancing scalability and efficiency of IT operations.
- Communicate project progress to senior management and stakeholders through detailed reports and presentations.
- Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth project transitions and user adoption.
- Mentor and guide project teams towards continuous improvement in processes and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Must Have:
- Proven experience as an IT Program Manager or in a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies; certifications like CSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe are highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience working with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Background in the automotive or insurance sectors.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and cybersecurity principles.
Work Environment:
