Job Title: Network Support Technician
Job Type: 6 Month Contract to Direct.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and clients.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, hardware failures, and software malfunctions.
- Windows 10 deployment
- Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades to ensure security and reliability.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Previous MSP experience preferred by not required
- Minimum 3 year’s experience as a Network Technician or similar role
- Bachelor's degree preferred by not required in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with firewall management and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network ) are a plus.
