Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction skills. This role involves working with concrete to create smooth, durable surfaces for various construction projects. A successful Concrete Finisher will demonstrate attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up concrete forms according to specifications.
• Mix concrete using a concrete mixer and ensure proper consistency.
• Pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and equipment.
• Finish surfaces of poured concrete using various tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds.
• Apply caulking as necessary to ensure proper sealing of joints.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals including carpenters and masons.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proficient in concrete finishing techniques and tools.
• Experience with metal stud framing and frame carpentry is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in construction tasks.
• Ability to build structures such as roofs and walls effectively.
• Knowledge of drywall installation processes.
• Experience with masonry work is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
