Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and POS systems.
- Provide information about products, promotions, and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing, discounts, and returns.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain stock levels and ensure the sales floor is well-organized.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
- Experience in stock management or collaboration sales is a plus.
