Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining an organized and productive work environment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
1st shift - 8AM-4:30PM

Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, including order pickers, clamp trucks, and cranes, to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in order picking processes, accurately selecting items for shipment based on customer orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, with experience in materials handling and warehouse environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including inventory management systems.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts safely, including order pickers and clamp trucks.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and workplace safety.
