We are Now Hiring Full-Time, DSPs:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated DSP to provide care and support to our members ensuring they experience a fun filled day with non-stop activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with people with IDD, and making it a meaningful day.

Qualifications:

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must pass SYNERGY AZ required trainings.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Be dependable and punctual.
• Must possess and maintain a Level I Fingerprint Card and Background Clearance or have the ability to receive an AZ DPS Fingerprint Level 1 clearance
• Must have the ability to pass background check with Arizona Central Registry, Arizona Adult Protective Services, and obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance.
• Must possess and maintain CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and Prevention & Support training. If not, must complete and receive certification within 90-days of hire
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Must be fully ambulatory and able to frequently lift, push and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and autonomy.
• Engage in meaningful social and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and daily activities.
• Collaborate with professionals and family members to ensure the well-being of members receiving services at SYNERGY AZ day program

Job Types: Full-time:

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am- 4:00pm

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring individuals, as well as sustained periods of walking or standing.
• Must pass: All Background Checks have a clean criminal record and, random drug testing.
• Must have Strong communication skills: patience, empathy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
