Project Manager

Synergy Builders, well established residential design build firm out of West Chicago IL, is looking for a full-time experienced Project Manager. Projects include kitchen and bath remodeling, home additions, basement finishing, whole house renovations and outdoor living projects. Responsibilities: 

• Communication with clients 
• Create Grant chart in Builder Trend that is accurate, detailed, and attainable 
• Update the white board and Builder Trend with any changes to the schedule and / or draw schedule. 
• Basic understanding of the Project before Pre-Construction meeting 

• Order material for job 
• Set up all necessary inspections 
• Help develop and train personnel 
• Maintain vehicle assigned to team 
• Complete warranty requests of past clients 

• Audit timesheets from direct reports 
• May at times perform work in the field with tools 
• Supervise and facilitate the duties of the employees, carpenters and sub-contractors chosen for the job 
• Maintains daily contact with field staff to monitor that work is being completed as scheduled and holds them accountable for their tasks 
• Contact sub-contractors early and provide detailed information about the project 

• Awards jobs to approved subs, within Company framework 
• Maintain estimated job costs for each project 
• Get pricing for materials and labor for each phase of the project and confirm lead times 
• Create proper change orders 
• Remind customers of upcoming draws and collect payments 

• Approve bills from sub-contractors for payment 
• Maintain the highest level of quality and provide “stress free remodeling” for each customer

• Prefer 8 years project management experience with 3 Million Dollar or Larger Company with Residential and commercial Remodeling Operations 
• Experience with Residential Building Codes 
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and
• Builder Trend software a plus

Salary : $55,000
