The Data Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing, optimizing, and ensuring the integrity of the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and related databases. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Big Data Architect, this role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, integrating business intelligence (BI) solutions, and ensuring data quality across platforms. The position requires expertise in AWS (Redshift, S3), SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and database management, along with leadership skills to oversee data governance and manage both internal teams and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain the EDW and data marts, ensuring performance optimization and scalability.
- ETL/ELT Development: Build and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Data Governance & Quality: Implement processes to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
- Business Intelligence: Support the development and deployment of reports and dashboards using Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI, and Excel.
- Cloud & Security Management: Oversee AWS cloud infrastructure, access management, and database security.
- Project & Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams, consultants, and offshore resources to deliver data initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 years of AWS experience (Redshift, S3, EC2) with AWS Solutions Architect preferred.
- 5 years in database management & data warehousing, including SQL and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with Python scripts for data processing and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy).
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
