Installation Cable Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various cable systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of network installation and electrical systems, along with hands-on experience with tools and equipment.

Duties

• Install and configure cable systems, including fiber optic and Ethernet networks.
• Perform fiber splicing and ensure proper connections for high-quality signal transmission.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment such as voltmeters to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with field service teams to address customer needs effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns on-site.

Qualifications

• Proficient in the use of hand tools related to cable installation.
• Experience with Cisco routers and network installation is preferred.(Not Required)
• Strong electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude are essential. (Not Required)
• Familiarity with fiber splicing techniques is highly desirable. (Not Required)
• Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
• Previous experience in a field service role is a plus. ( Not Required)

We pay our tech per job they completed. You can easily make bewteen $150 and $400 daily

Most of are techs on a 5 day work week averages $1250.

We are looking for tech willing to work 8-5pm, 8-7pm, 10-7pm or 10-9pm 5 days a week.

Shift schudule isSunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. You can work extra days if requested.

WE REQUIRE ANYONE APPLYING TO HAVE THEIR OWN TRUCK OR VAN, THAT CAN CARRY A 28FT FIBER GLASS LADDER.

WE CAN NOT HIRE ANYONE WITH A FELONY CHARGE.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $150.00 - $400.00 per day
