The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities include activities related to program CAD Operator / Draftsman such as :
Basic Qualification :
- Creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering.
- Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product.
- Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards.
- Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards and ECN / ECR documentation.
- May work with system management including file maintenance, backup, and storage.
- Prepare and log engineering drawings (process spec and tooling drawings)
- An Active TS / SCI security clearance.
- High School Diploma / GED and five (5) to six (6) years of relevant experience.
- Familiar with MAC OS Systems and experience operating AutoCAD 2021 and 2022
- Experience revising drawings based on instructions from engineers or architects.
- Experience Microsoft tools such as excel.
- Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, blueprints, product specifications, and geometric dimensioning tolerance (GD&T), Wide Diagrams, flow plans, network diagrams.
