We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Perform minor procedures, including the administration of dermal fillers as needed.
- Monitor patients in various settings, including medical offices and ICU environments.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
- Provide support in a Level II Trauma Center when necessary, ensuring effective triage and treatment of acute conditions.
Skills
- Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to recognize and address various ailments effectively.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks.
- Experience or familiarity with ophthalmology practices is an asset.
- Ability to ventilate patients effectively during emergencies or critical situations.
- Excellent communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of current medical standards and practices within a teaching hospital environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
