Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
· Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
· Receives and delivers all mail, phone, email, and fax messages in a timely manner.
· Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
· Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
· Keeps the reception area clean and organized.
· Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
· Controls waiting room, attends to patient needs, and ensures the schedule runs on time.
· Accurately updates patient chart and EHR records upon each visit.
· Ensures all patient records are completed and filed daily.
· Acts as a translator between the Chiropractor and Spanish-only or Spanish as a Primary Language speaking patients.
· Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information and makes sure that protected health information is secured by not leaving PHI in plain sight and logging off the computer before leaving it unattended.
· Assists with all administrative aspects of the clinic to include scanning, filing, faxing, ordering reports, delivering paperwork to appropriate providers within the office, and all other duties as assigned by clinic manager.
· Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
· 35 WPM is required.
Physical Demands: Must be able to sit in at a desk working and typing at a computer and answering phone calls for prolonged times during the day.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
