Investment Banker – Early-Stage Capital Raise for Consulting Startup About The RoleSynergy Management Group (SMG) is a consulting firm that partners with institutional investors, portfolio companies, and growing businesses. We collaborate with top-tier organizations in private equity and venture capital to drive growth through sourcing, due diligence, operations, and strategic exits.This is a remote position.We are executing a fast-track seed-stage capital raise and are seeking an experienced Investment Banker to lead this fundraising effort. This role involves developing investor materials, targeting high-net-worth investors, and managing the entire capital raise process from start to finish in collaboration with the CEO.Responsibilities : Lead Capital Raise : Spearhead a seed-stage fundraising round ($250K–$500K) by managing the entire capital raise cycle, from developing investor materials to closing deals.Investor Outreach & Negotiation : Target and engage elite, high-net-worth investors. Present investment opportunities and negotiate deal terms.Develop Investor Materials : Refine and leverage SMG’s existing assets to create compelling, comprehensive investor materials (pitch deck, use of proceeds, financials).Strategic Planning : Define strategy for fundraising, including targeting the right investors and identifying optimal deal structures.Requirements : 10 years of experience in angel, VC, or PE capital markets.Proven track record of successful capital raises (ideally $500K–$5M) for early-stage companies.Extensive network of high-net-worth investors and active SEC / FINRA broker-dealer licenses in good standing.Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Self-starter who can independently manage the capital raise process and collaborate closely with the CEO.Compensation : Earn a competitive success fee based on a percentage of the total capital raised, paid upon achieving predefined milestones.Opportunity to shape SMG’s future with long-term equity participation and advisory board involvement.About SMG : Elite Clientele : Past engagements with top institutional investors managing over $100B in assets.Established Product-Market Fit : Proven success in delivering high-caliber consulting services to leading institutional investment firms.World-Class Team : Consultants with leadership experience at firms such as McKinsey, Bain, PwC, EY, Carlyle, Deloitte, and KPMG.Growth Focus : We are seeking strategic capital to scale our infrastructure and accelerate business development.Additional Information : Remote Role : This position is fully remote, with flexible work hours.Interview Process : Initial interviews will be conducted via video conference.To Apply : Submit your resume and a summary of relevant experience.
