Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)Proof of HHA / CNA certification (when applicable)Proof of current 2-Step TB testingMust be bondableMeet or exceed minimum qualifications for the following :A criminal background check (National and any required by the state)Motor Vehicle Driving RecordProfessional and Personal Reference ChecksMust be physically able to perform the functions of this positionHave reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of sufficient automobile insurance (when applicable).Satisfactorily complete SYNERGY HomeCare of Columbia Orientation and online training modules as assignedPossess excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAs a Caregiver with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will :
Provide attention to the client's non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagementAssist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication remindersEstablish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workersProvide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shiftsPreparing snacks and meals to help sustain and satisfy the client throughout your scheduled time with them.Encouraging light exercise (walks, bikes, swims, stretches) to keep the client active and physically moving.Tidying up the house and helping with basic housekeeping tasks that keep the home environment neat and enjoyable for the client.Take the client to nearby appointments or engagements.
