Duties

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client adherence to medication schedules.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions to appropriate healthcare professionals.
Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe travel to appointments or community activities.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years old

Previous experience in long-term care, home care, or nursing home settings is preferred.

Knowledge of patient care techniques, including CPR certification is a plus.

Ability to administer medications accurately and understand medication management protocols.

Strong observational skills to monitor client health status effectively.

Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and their families.

Familiarity with developing care plans that address individual client needs.

A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and respect for client dignity.

Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Pay : $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule : 12 hour shift

4 hour shift

8 hour shift

Day shift

Evening shift

Morning shift

Overnight shift

Weekends as needed

Job Requirements :

Must be 18 years or older.

At least one year of caregiver experience (family, agency, or facility) or a CNA certification.

Hold or be willing to obtain CPR / First Aid certification (can be obtained after the interview).

Pass a national background check.

Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance / registration, and reliable transportation.

Be able to work Saturdays or Sundays regularly.
