Rate: $45 per in-person visit
Responsibilities and Duties
The HHA is responsible for delivering compassionate personal care assistance, conducting basic health monitoring, providing emotional support, and accurately documenting patient care activities, including:
- Personal care (e.g., toileting, bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming)
- Use of equipment and supplies safely and properly.
- Assess and report on patient condition, including any significant changes
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient services to reflect the plan of care in HospiceMD
- Perform other duties as assigned by the RN or DPCS.
The above duties are to be performed in alignment with the individualized care plan established by the hospice interdisciplinary team and under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
Position Qualifications
- Valid HHA certification with CDPH
- At least 1 year of health aide experience in the home health or hospice industry.
- Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
- Strong patient communication and service skills.
- Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds in association with essential functions of the job (e.g., assistance with mobility, transfers, etc.)
- Valid CA driver license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
Schedule: As Needed

Pay: $45.00 per day
