Job Description:
The Systems Developer will work on the OMH Medicaid Application Modernization project, focusing on the development, maintenance, and modernization of applications linked to Medicaid using a Low-Code platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development:
- Execute the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Write code using MVC Architecture, .NET, C#, JavaScript, Angular, AJAX, HTML, XML, and WCF.
- Database Management:
- Create and modify Oracle tables, indexes, constraints, and triggers.
- Develop PL/SQL stored procedures and packages.
- Handle data migration and conversion as needed.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging:
- Diagnose issues in reports using Crystal Reports and troubleshoot rules, calculations, and data issues.
- Mentoring and Collaboration:
- Provide guidance to other programmers on debugging, troubleshooting, securing, and deploying applications.
- Version Control:
- Use repositories like Tortoise SVN, Visual SVN, or TFS for version control and branching.
- Incident and Service Management:
- Work within the IT Service Management (ITSM) system to manage incidents and service requests.
- Coordination:
- Coordinate service requests with ITS personnel for application releases and changes.
Required Skills and Tools:
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, JavaScript, and Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with OutSystems, CI/CD workflows, and AI/ML application development.
- Knowledge of SOA integration, web standards (WCAG 2.0), and HL7 transformation.
The position requires an expert-level candidate with 84 months of experience to ensure the modernization of Medicaid-related systems and applications.
