Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and efficient.
- Collaborate with the team to groom and refine the product backlog, clarifying requirements and ensuring stories are appropriately sized.
- Monitor and communicate the status of Epics and Stories, along with any risks or issues, to stakeholders and project management teams.
- Develop and track metrics to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Provide work effort estimates and assist in prioritization by communicating trade-offs and potential impacts.
- Mentor and coach team members in Agile methodologies to enhance their skills and improve overall Scrum maturity.
- Proactively identify and eliminate roadblocks or conflicts that hinder the team’s progress.
- Oversee the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional projects while managing concurrent workstreams and implementation activities.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate risks, escalate issues when needed, and make balanced trade-offs between business needs and technical limitations.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand and interpret technical information effectively.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading Agile teams as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of Scrum frameworks, techniques, and artifacts (e.g., definition of done, Epics, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
- Excellent communication and servant leadership abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field from an accredited institution, with relevant experience in Agile and project management.
- Hands-on IT delivery experience, including software development expertise.
- Proficiency in Agile/Kanban software development practices.
- Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master) are preferred but not required.
- Background in financial services is a plus.
Salary : $70 - $90
