Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Proofreader / Copy Editor with experience in news media, editorial, or digital advertising agencies. This role requires a strong command of grammar, punctuation, style, and accuracy to ensure high-quality content.
Location : Remote (Must work PST hours)
Duration : This is a 6 month contract
Key Responsibilities :
- Copyedit, proofread, and fact-check stories to maintain consistency in grammar, punctuation, style, accuracy, voice, and tone.
- Ensure that the most up-to-date copy is correctly implemented in CMS builds.
- Occasionally rewrite headlines, subheads, captions, and copy as part of the editing and peer review process.
- Agency experience is required for this position.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong editorial judgment, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
