SynergyLabs is seeking to fill a position for a BATCHING TECHNICIAN: NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS for its’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located near Hickory, North Carolina. This is a day shift position, 5am - 5pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; work 36 hours, pay for 40.
TECHNICAL & FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Following a recipe, the Batching Technician will weigh/measure ingredients and will assure the materials are blended using an industrial mixer, while adhering to written mixing procedures.
- Responsible for communicating any raw material concerns to Purchasing.
- Ability to test all product specifications and complete CofA’s as needed.
OTHER NECESSARY SKILLS:
- Using scientific rules and methods to solve problems.
- Conducting tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality and performance.
- Using mathematics to solve problems, calculate efficiencies and maximize daily batching capability.
- Watching gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure machines are working properly.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- One to three years’ experience in batching; preferred
- Solid understanding of mathematic principles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs required
