About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Investment Banker to lead a seedstage capital raise ($500K $1M) as we scale SMG s infrastructure and services. This role involves developing SEC / FINRAcompliant investor materials engaging highnetworth investors and managing the capital raise process in direct collaboration with the CEO . This is a remote position with a flexible schedule offering a successfee compensation structure with the potential for equity participation based on milestones.
Responsibilities :
- Lead Capital Raise : Spearhead a seedstage fundraising round managing the entire process from investor material development to closing deals .
- Investor Outreach & Negotiation : Identify target and engage elite highnetworth investors family offices and other relevant seedstage investors . Present investment opportunities and negotiate deal terms.
- Develop Investor Materials : Utilize SMG s existing marketing materials collateral and related assets to develop and finalize SEC / FINRAcompliant investor materials including the pitch deck financials and use of proceeds .
- Strategic Planning : Define and execute the capital raise strategy identify ideal investor targets and structure optimal deal terms.
- Collaborate with the CEO : Work directly with the CEO to ensure alignment on goals strategy and fundraising execution .
