Job Summary:
A 8-hour shift, 5-day workweek position is available for a motivated Cytotechnologist. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cytological examinations on various specimens using advanced microscopy techniques.
- Analyze data and make accurate diagnoses to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with pathologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory standards and compliance.
Requirements:
- Board certification or registration as a Cytotechnologist (CT)
- Valid state licensure (if applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cytotechnology
- Strong knowledge of cytology principles, instrumentation, and laboratory procedures
