Key Responsibilities:
- Manage personal injury cases from initial intake to resolution
- Coordinate with physicians to ensure timely and appropriate medical care for patients
- Communicate regularly with patients' attorneys regarding treatment plans, progress, and medical records
- Develop and maintain relationships with personal injury law firms to generate referrals
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of medical liens
- Negotiate lien settlements with attorneys and insurance companies
- Monitor and track case progress, ensuring all deadlines are met
- Prepare and present case summaries for internal review
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to personal injury cases
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- 3 years of experience in healthcare administration or personal injury case management
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and orthopedic procedures
- Familiarity with personal injury law and medical lien processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare management software
- Experience with medical billing and coding is a plus
