The Quality Reviewer plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of care at Synergy Recovery Network. This position is responsible for meticulously reviewing client records, treatment plans, and other documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal policies, licensing regulations, and accreditation standards. The Quality Reviewer will identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement and provide feedback to clinical staff to enhance the quality of client care and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review client records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other relevant documentation.
- Verify that documentation is accurate, complete, timely, and adheres to all applicable regulations and standards.
- Identify any inconsistencies, omissions, or areas of concern in client records.
- Provide constructive feedback to clinical staff regarding documentation practices and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors and program directors to address any identified issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits of clinical records, treatment plans, and other documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities across all programs.
- Maintain a database or tracking system to monitor quality review findings and trends.
- Generate reports on quality review activities and outcomes for leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations, ethical guidelines, and best practices related to addiction treatment and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in quality review.
Qualifications:
- Degree in nursing, behavioral health, social work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the addiction treatment field, preferably in a clinical or documentation role.
- Strong understanding of ethical and legal considerations related to client confidentiality and record keeping.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and written communication abilities.
- Must be proficient in basic EHR, computer skills and typing. Experience and proficiency in MS Office required.
