We are seeking a highly skilled VP of Accounting to oversee and streamline our month-end close process, financial statement preparation, and consolidations. This role will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting while optimizing accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GAAP compliance, multi-entity consolidations, and financial analysis. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are essential to drive process improvements and support strategic decision-making.
Key Duties:
- Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Direct the consolidation of financials across multiple entities, ensuring proper eliminations and adjustments.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with FP&A, tax, and audit teams to provide accurate reporting and analysis.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and automation in accounting operations.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on accounting policies, procedures, and financial performance.
Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and multi-entity consolidations.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $175,000 - $205,000
