What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Supervisor position at Synergy Senior Management?
We are looking for an energetic Activity Specialist to join our growing team! The right candidate has excellent communication skills and experience in geriatrics, recreation, or social administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design a creative and exciting life enrichment program to meet the individual needs and interest of the community.
- Plan monthly life enrichment calendar.
- Participate in the review of service plans and regularly document life enrichment progress. Participate in discharge planning with other members of the management team.
- Assist in planning and carrying out fun and engaging events for both residents and marketing events; collaborating with the rest of the team.
- Plan and conduct outings with residents
- Attend weekly leadership meetings
- Monitor Life Enrichment budgets, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide guidance and act as a resource to staff on the importance of life enrichment and other areas regarding the quality of life for residents.
- Ensure that Life Enrichment Programs meet all state, federal and local regulations.
- Coordinate quarterly special events at the community. Develop and maintain contact with community agencies and organization.
- Train, supervise and coordinate volunteers.
- Comply with Residents' Rights policy and Community and Employee Policies and Procedures.
- Other duties assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- A minimum of two years of experience within a senior living community is required.
- Previous experience as an Activity/Lifestyle Director is preferred.
- Ability to work well unsupervised
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to socially interact and perform under pressure.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required; weekend availability
