What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Resident Care position at Synergy Senior Management?
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team! The right candidate will have previous experience as an LPN/RN and has a current state license. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and has the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the ED and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient

Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change

Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries

Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations

Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
- Monitor and oversee a staff of 50 caregivers, med-techs, and supervisors
- Train new med-techs
- Help perform interviews for your department
- Communicate with Home care, hospice,and physician's for coordination of care

Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition
Qualifications

1 year experience as an LPN /RN

Current state license as an LPN /RN

Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing

Proof of current CPR certification

Ability to work flexible schedule
