Job Overview
Seeking an Electrical Designer with expertise in EPLAN Electric P8 for custom automation projects.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in electrical design for custom automation using EPLAN Electric
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of industrial control system hardware, including PLCs, I/O, motor controls, and network devices
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project manager and design engineers to develop electrical designs for industrial equipment
- Evaluate and select hardware to meet machine-specific requirements
- Create electrical and pneumatic schematics and bills of materials using EPLAN Electric P8
- Design custom industrial control panels and interface with panel shop during the build
- Support assembly and debug operations by providing direction on electrical assembly and troubleshooting issues
