Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Manager's notes:
We are NOT looking for a facilities maintenance tech. We need someone who has performed maintenance and calibration on very large manufacturing equipment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on large industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and logic controllers.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Assist in HVAC/R system maintenance and repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance tech
- Strong understanding of production equipment, electrical systems, and field service operations.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and schematics is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
