What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Assembler position at Synergy Staffing?
Major Function:
Assemble small to large electronic components from drawings, schematics and manuals.
Major Responsibilities:
- Winding of heavy gauge wire and foil
- Soldering wire and braising copper foil
- Material handling of large parts and components
- Crane operation to position raw materials and finished product
- Assemble prototypes and small run production of electronic components.
- Apply insulation and connect wiring.
- Testing of electrical parts and components.
- Repair or replacement of defective components.
- Cycle counting component and finished parts
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education/Training:
Degree: Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Skills:
- Soldering and braising experience
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Wire or foil winding experience desired
- IPC certification desired
- Manual Dexterity to Assemble Devices
- Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Analytical Ability
- Math Aptitude
- Organization
- PC Literate
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/ mechanical drawings and schematics
